The Cat Cafe opened in January 2015 as Southern California’s first cat cafe. Initially partnering with San Diego Humane Society, in 2017, The Cat Cafe began partnering with The Rescue House for adoptable cats. Hundreds of cats have found homes through the efforts of The Cat Cafe and its animal welfare partners.
Located in the Marina District of downtown San Diego, The Cat Cafe is a short walk from major San Diego attractions such as the Gaslamp District, the San Diego Convention Center and Petco Park.
